Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for infants and toddlers
• Support child supervision by maintaining a safe and clean classroom environment at all times
• Engage children with caring interaction, encouraging exploration and learning through play
• Help with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other daily routines following health and safety guidelines
• Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress, needs, and daily experiences both in person and via our ProCare App
• Support classroom management by helping to organize materials and maintain order during activities
• Follow all mandated reporting laws to ensure child safety and well-being are prioritized at all times

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or childcare settings is highly preferred
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
• Certification in first aid and CPR (Pediatric First Aid preferred) to respond effectively in emergencies is required but can be recieved through on the job training.
• Strong communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members
• Ability to adhere to classroom management strategies and behavior management techniques
• Commitment to creating a nurturing environment that supports infant and toddler growth and development

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
