Infant Teacher

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities

• Provide attentive supervision and care for infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
• Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote sensory exploration, motor skills, and emotional development
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity and learning
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and daily experiences
• Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to ensure a secure setting
• Support individual developmental needs by observing children’s behaviors and adjusting activities accordingly
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum enhancements focused on childhood development standards and best practices

Skills

• Strong knowledge of infant care routines, including feeding, diapering, sleep schedules, and hygiene practices
• Experience working with children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education or additional support
• Proficiency in child development instruction and behavior management techniques suitable for infants
• Excellent classroom management skills to create a positive learning atmosphere
• Ability to communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and team members about children's progress and needs
• Knowledge of mandated reporting laws to ensure compliance with legal requirements for child protection
• Certification in first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid, and knowledge of childhood development principles is highly preferred
• Previous experience in daycare center or preschool environments demonstrating classroom experience and daycare experience
