Infant Teacher

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive supervision and care for infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
• Design and implement age-appropriate activities that promote sensory exploration, motor skills, and early socialization
• Maintain accurate records of each child's developmental progress and daily routines
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's milestones, needs, and daily experiences
• Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid, CPR, and mandated reporting laws
• Foster a nurturing environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management
• Collaborate with team members to plan classroom activities that support childhood development and inclusive learning experiences

Experience

• Prior experience working with infants or in a daycare or preschool setting is highly preferred
• Knowledge of child development instruction and early childhood education principles
• Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
• Classroom management skills tailored to infant care environments
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with parents and team members
• Certification in first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid, or related health and safety training is required or highly desirable
• Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and behavior management techniques for young children
