Infant Room Assistant Teacher

We are looking for an assistant teacher in our Infant Room, working with children 2 months to 12 months. Hours to be worked are Monday thru Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm.

Responsibilities include supervision of children, implementation of daily and weekly activities, assisting in feedings, diaper changing, and assistant the lead teacher. Must have experience working with younger children. We are looking to fill the position as soon as possible.

Requirements:

-Ensure the operation complies with the minimum standards
-Minimum of 18 years of age
-Previous childcare experience, at least 6 months
-Must be CPR/First Aid certified
-Must be able to pass a background check and receive fingerprints
-Communicating appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff
-Reliable transportation to attend work
-Team player with a positive, service-oriented attitude

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $9.00 - $11.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
• Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)
• Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
