Position Summary

The Learning Wheel Preschool currently hiring for Infant classroom teacher. We are looking for a strong lead fully qualified teachers. The Teacher is responsible for providing a warm, positive, nurturing and organized environment for preschool children to learn through developmentally-appropriate activities and interactions. This position will consult and collaborate with other members of the interdisciplinary team to develop an understanding of each child’s unique individual needs, and to develop effective curriculum and instructional strategies, which promote social/emotional development, communication and language development, intellectual and cognitive development, visual-spatial processing, sensory-motor function, and executive functioning. In addition, the position must maintain professional communication with all team members, families, and the community. The Preschool Teacher works collaboratively with each family and other team members to ensure that each child is provided with the highest quality educational program for optimal success educationally, socially, and emotionally.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 12 ECE (Early Childhood Education) units, Infant and Toddler units, and related experience. An Associate's, Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills; able to manage competing priorities and workflow.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
• Must be able to work between 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
• Lift a minimum of 30 pounds

Job Type: Full-time Teacher Role

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• No nights
• No weekends
• 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
