Duties

• Provide attentive supervision and care for infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
• Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development in infants
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and daily experiences
• Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid, CPR, and mandated reporting laws
• Support infants with feeding, diapering, nap times, and other basic needs in a compassionate manner
• Collaborate with team members to plan curriculum activities that align with early childhood education standards and individual child development plans

Experience

• Prior experience working with infants in a daycare center or similar childcare setting is highly preferred
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and infant care best practices
• Experience implementing child supervision techniques and behavior management strategies
• Familiarity with classroom management tools and documentation procedures for young children
• Certification in first aid and CPR (pediatric first aid preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with parents, children, and team members in a professional manner
