Toddler Teacher Assistant (1+ year of Early Child Education Experience)

Starbright Early Learning Center in Everett is hiring a motivated, energetic, and caring Teacher Assistant to join our toddler classroom, working with children 12–24 months old. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

We are looking for a dependable, flexible team player who enjoys working with young children. Responsibilities include supporting the lead teacher, actively supervising children, assisting with diapering and hygiene, serving meals, guiding behavior, and helping children through daily routines and activities. Applicants must be able to lift at least 50 pounds, maintain a clean and organized classroom, and communicate effectively with families and staff.

Experience working with young children is preferred. We also prefer applicants who have CPR/First Aid and Bloodborne Pathogens/HIV training, a negative TB test, and a Food Handler Card. Applicants must be able to pass a background check through the Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Families before their start date. STARS training or college coursework in early childhood education is a plus, but not required.

After 90 days of full-time employment, we offer health and dental insurance, paid holidays, and paid schooling in Early Childhood Education through the Early Achievers Grant. You will join a professional, supportive team that includes staff with college degrees in early childhood education.
