Infant Room Teacher

A to Z Learning Center & Daycare is seeking a compassionate, patient, and dependable Nursery Teacher to care for and nurture our youngest learners. If you have a passion for infant development and creating a loving, safe, and engaging environment, we invite you to join our dedicated team.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, loving care for infants while ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Create a warm, nurturing environment that supports healthy emotional, social, and physical development.
• Follow individualized feeding, sleeping, and diapering schedules.
• Engage infants in age-appropriate sensory, language, and developmental activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary classroom that meets all health and licensing standards.
• Observe and document developmental milestones and daily activities.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's care, progress, and daily routine.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to provide high-quality care and education.
• Follow all childcare licensing regulations and center policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CDA, associate degree, or coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Previous experience caring for infants in a licensed childcare setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of infant development and safe sleep practices.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively care for infants throughout the day.
• Must pass all required background checks and meet state licensing requirements.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
