Early Preschool Teacher

Duties

• Create a positive classroom environment that encourages active participation, curiosity, and respect among students
• Support early intervention strategies and adapt teaching methods for children with special education needs or behavioral challenges
• Manage classroom behavior using effective behavior management techniques to promote a safe and respectful space for all children
• Conduct assessments and utilize standardized testing tools to monitor student progress and inform instruction
• Engage in ongoing communication with parents and guardians regarding children's development, milestones, and classroom activities
• Assist in toddler care, preschool activities, and childcare routines to support holistic childhood development

Experience

• Prior classroom experience working with young children in early childhood education settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools
• Strong background in curriculum development tailored for early learners across various domains including literacy education and math
• Experience working with children with special needs or in inclusive classrooms is highly desirable
• Knowledge of Montessori or other child-centered educational philosophies is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to manage classrooms effectively through classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies
• Familiarity with teaching physical education activities and promoting child welfare practices
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues, parents, and community partners
