Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Experienced Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional development tailored for toddlers.
• Provide attentive toddler care, ensuring safety, hygiene, and comfort at all times.
• Manage classroom behavior with positive reinforcement strategies to encourage cooperation and emotional regulation.
• Maintain a well-organized classroom environment that supports active learning and exploration.
• Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies to maintain a safe environment.
• Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor developmental progress and inform instruction.
• Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, classroom management strategies, and professional development opportunities.
• Lead activities that promote physical education and motor skills development suitable for toddlers’ age group.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with young children in a classroom or childcare setting, specifically with toddlers.
• Strong knowledge of child development principles, childhood education best practices, and behavior management techniques.
• Demonstrated ability in curriculum development focused on early literacy, math, physical activity, and social-emotional learning.
• Certification in first aid and CPR required; additional certifications are a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Classroom management expertise to create a positive learning environment that fosters safety and curiosity.
• Experience with preschool teaching methods, classroom experience in private or public settings preferred.
• Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations.
• Ability to plan lessons that incorporate physical education activities suitable for toddlers’ developmental stages.
• Passion for early childhood education with a commitment to supporting each child's growth and well-being.

Pay: $8.50 - $9.50 per hour
