Early Learning Teacher

Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a co-teacher in our Early Learning classroom.

This classroom serves children aged 2-3 years old.

Responsibilities

• Partner with co-teacher to create lesson plans that align with the provided curriculum
• Work with co-teacher to implement curriculum activities and follow the classroom's daily schedule
• Foster a positive classroom atmosphere by managing behavior effectively and encouraging respectful interactions among children.
• Deliver child development instruction tailored to individual needs, including special education support and early intervention strategies.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding child progress, milestones, and any concerns to ensure a strong partnership in the child's development.
• Ensure regulatory compliance at all times by maintaining classroom safety standards, administering first aid and CPR when necessary, and adhering to mandated reporting laws.
• complete care tasks such as diaper changes, assisting with toileting, helping clean after meals, etc
• assist with keeping the classroom clean by following sanitation guidelines

Experience

Candidates MUST have at least one of the following:

• Child Development Associate Credential or an Early Childhood Ancillary Certificate
• Degree in Early Childhood Education
• 1+ year of demonstrated experience successfully implementing developmentally appropriate schedules and learning activities, classroom management, and curriculum implementation

Pay: $9.50 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• LICENSED Child Care: 1 year (Preferred)
