Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional development based on childhood development principles.
• Plan and execute engaging lesson plans that incorporate Montessori methods, early intervention strategies, and classroom activities tailored to toddlers and preschoolers.
• Manage daily classroom operations to ensure a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment that supports behavior management and child welfare.
• Foster positive relationships with children by providing individualized attention, supporting special education needs, and encouraging active participation in classroom activities.
• Collaborate with parents and caregivers through regular communication about children’s progress, milestones, and any behavioral or developmental concerns.
• Conduct assessments using standardized testing when appropriate to monitor progress and inform instruction or tutoring strategies.
• Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, student progress, incident reports, and classroom inventories to ensure compliance with licensing standards and best practices.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of childhood development theories and early childhood education best practices.
• Proven experience in classroom management with infants, toddlers or preschool-aged children in daycare or private school settings.
• Expertise in curriculum development across multiple domains including literacy education, math, physical education, and special education needs.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
• Ability to implement behavior management techniques that promote positive social interactions and emotional well-being.
• Familiarity with early intervention program

Pay: $15.16 - $23.00 per hour
