Early Childhood Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a vibrant educational environment. Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional development.
• Manage classroom environments to ensure safety, engagement, and positive behavior management.
• Conduct ongoing assessments of child development through observations and standardized testing to tailor instruction effectively.
• Facilitate early intervention strategies for children with special needs or developmental delays in collaboration with specialists.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones through meetings and written reports.
• Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws and ensure all safety protocols, including first aid and CPR certifications, are up to date.
• Support children’s physical well-being by supervising activities such as outdoor play and physical education classes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with young children in a classroom or daycare setting.
• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention techniques, and preschool curriculum development.
• Experience with special education needs and behavior management strategies.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and external professionals.
• Familiarity with classroom management tools, lesson planning software, and standardized testing procedures.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional credentials in early childhood education or preschool teaching are preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to create inclusive learning environments that support diverse learners across various developmental stages.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
