Spend More Time Teaching — and Less Time Planning

One of the best parts?

Your lesson plans are prepared for you.

You’ll bring our age-appropriate curriculum to life while still having the opportunity to use your creativity, personality, and teaching experience to make each day engaging and meaningful.

That means more of your energy can go where it belongs: connecting with children and helping them thrive.

What You’ll Do

As a Lead Teacher, you’ll create a classroom where children feel safe, supported, confident, and excited to learn.

You’ll:

Implement prepared-for-you, age-appropriate lessons and activities
Create a nurturing, inclusive and engaging classroom
Build meaningful relationships with children and families
Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical development
Observe children’s progress and celebrate their milestones
Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers
Collaborate with fellow educators and school leadership
Maintain a safe, organized and positive learning environment

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for an educator who believes early childhood education is more than a job — it’s an opportunity to shape a child’s future.

You may be a great fit if you have:

A Child Development Associate (CDA), Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education, or other qualifying early childhood credentials
Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A nurturing, dependable and positive approach
A desire to continue learning and growing professionally

Bachelor’s degree is welcomed but not required for every qualified candidate.

Already an Experienced Teacher? There’s Room to Grow Here.

We don’t want great teachers to feel stuck.

We’re looking for educators who want to strengthen their skills, take on new challenges, and build a long-term career in early childhood education.

You’ll have access to training, professional development, supportive leadership, and opportunities for advancement as you grow with our school.

Do Work That Matters — With a Team That Values It.

Every story you read, every question you answer, every encouraging word you give and every milestone you celebrate helps shape the person a child will become.

That’s important work.

And we believe the teachers doing it deserve to feel supported, appreciated and proud of where they work.

Ready for Your Next Chapter?

If you’re an early childhood educator looking for a school where you can teach, grow, connect and make a difference, we’d love to meet you.

Apply today and discover what your teaching career could look like at Primrose School at Standley Lake.
