Early Childhood Lead Teacher

We are currently seeking a Lead Teacher for our infant room. The Lead Teacher is responsible for ensuring that the classroom environment promotes the children’s growth and development by implementing curriculum and doing assessments. The duties developmentally appropriate practices and routine activities with the children, lesson planning, communicating with parents, meeting health and safety standards, and keeping necessary records and data. The Lead Teacher supervises assistant teachers and/or volunteers and is under the general supervision of the Director.

Qualifications and/or Experience:

• Minimum of Associates Degree in Child Development. A person may be considered if they have 12 college credit hours in Child Development and currently working on an Associates Degree or higher in Child Development or a related field.
• Minimum at least two years teaching experience
