About Us
Babes on the Square Too is a NAEYC accredited, high-quality early childhood program in North Wilmington dedicated to providing a loving, developmentally appropriate, and family-centered environment. We are seeking a nurturing, dependable Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive, warm, and consistent care to Infant/ Young Toddlers ages 8 months to 1 and a half years old.
• Implement developmentally appropriate activities supporting social-emotional, sensory, and language growth.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that meets Delaware OCCL regulations.
• Follow all routines including diapering, feeding, napping, and daily health checks.
• Build positive relationships with families through daily communication and trust-based interactions.
• Complete daily documentation (feeding, diapering, milestones, observations).
• Collaborate with co-teachers and administration to support each child’s needs and developmental goals.

Qualifications

• Must meet Delaware OCCL requirements for Early Childhood Teacher (TECE I/II or CDA preferred).
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Previous center-based infant/toddler experience highly preferred.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs, sit/stand on the floor, and follow all health/safety guidelines.
• A nurturing, calm, patient, and dependable personality.

Schedule

Full-time shifts between 7:30am–5:30pm Monday–Friday.

Pay: $17.60 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
