Early Childhood Educator

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging lesson plans that align with developmental milestones while fostering a love for learning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that encourage learning through play and exploration.
• Foster a positive classroom environment that supports the emotional and social development of each child.
• Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents on their child's development.
• Maintain classroom management to ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive space for all students.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create an integrated curriculum that meets the needs of all learners, including those with disabilities.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise.
• Provide care for infants when necessary, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older with a High school diploma
• Experience working with children ages birth-5 in a classroom setting is essential.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices is required.
• Strong classroom management skills to create an effective learning environment.
• Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus.
• Previous babysitting or childcare experience is beneficial.
• Ability to educate children through engaging activities that promote learning and development.
• Compassionate nature with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff.
