Early Childhood Classroom Teacher – 2-Year-Old Program

East Woods School is looking for a warm, caring, energetic, and dedicated Pre-Nursery Lead Teacher to join our Early Childhood Center team. We are seeking an experienced early childhood educator who loves working with two-year-olds and understands their unique developmental needs.

Responsibilities include planning and leading age-appropriate, hands-on activities; supporting children's social, emotional, and early learning development; establishing positive classroom routines; communicating with families; and collaborating closely with assistant teachers.

The ideal candidate is dependable, patient, flexible, creative, and organized, with strong classroom management skills, a nurturing approach, and a genuine passion for helping our youngest learners grow and thrive.

Early Childhood Classroom Assistant – 2-Year-Old Program

East Woods School seeks a warm, caring, dependable individual to join our Early Childhood Center team. We are looking for someone who truly enjoys working with young children and is reliable, flexible, energetic, and patient, ready to jump in and be an active part of the classroom team.

Responsibilities include assisting with classroom activities and play, snack time, transitions, and outdoor play; supporting diapering, toileting, and hygiene; actively supervising and engaging with children; and helping maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom. The ideal candidate will work closely with teachers and assistants as part of a supportive classroom team.

Experience

• Prior experience working with young children in a classroom or childcare setting is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles
• Demonstrated ability to develop curriculum content
• Experience managing classroom behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and classroom management best practices.
• Strong communication skills combined with a passion for nurturing young children’s growth in private or preschool settings are essential.

Pay: $25.00 - $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 per week
