Director/Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Director to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, guiding their social, emotional, and cognitive development. As a Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, managing classroom dynamics, and collaborating with parents to ensure each child's growth and well-being.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
• Manage classroom activities, ensuring a safe and positive learning environment for all students.
• Educate children on basic academic concepts such as numbers, letters, colors, and shapes through interactive methods.
• Foster social skills by encouraging cooperation, sharing, and conflict resolution among students.
• Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns that may arise.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
• Engage in strategic planning for curriculum development in alignment with educational standards.

Qualifications

• A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field from an accredited university is preferred.
• Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing classroom environments effectively.
• Strong skills in education administration, including budgeting for classroom supplies and resources.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with parents, staff, and the community effectively.
• A passion for educating young children and fostering their love for learning.
• Ability to create a structured yet flexible learning environment that meets the diverse needs of preschoolers.
