Daycare Worker/Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Worker/Teacher to create a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment for young children. Responsibilities

• Plan and execute age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for children in preschool, toddler care, or infant care settings.
• Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and learning activities to ensure safety and engagement at all times.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning while adhering to health and safety standards.
• Support children with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns that arise.
• Implement behavior management strategies to foster positive interactions among children and promote respectful classroom behavior.
• Collaborate with team members to develop individualized care plans for children with special needs or disabilities.
• Administer basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to emergencies or incidents following established protocols.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or similar caregiving roles.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is highly preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in special education settings is a plus.
• Strong classroom management skills combined with patience and positive reinforcement techniques.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of children and communicate clearly with parents and team members.
