Daycare Teacher/Teacher Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher/Teacher Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young learners. The Daycare Teacher/Teacher Assistant will be responsible for planning engaging activities, managing classroom dynamics, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that foster learning through play and exploration.
• Supervise children during activities to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Create an inclusive environment that supports children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements.
• Maintain effective classroom management to promote positive behavior among students.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns that may arise.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the educational experience for all students.
• Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback and support as needed.
• Organize activities that encourage social interaction, creativity, and physical development.

Requirements

• Proven experience in caregiving or early childhood education is preferred.
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques to support children’s emotional needs.
• Experience working with children, including those with disabilities or special educational needs.
• Strong classroom management skills to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans tailored to the developmental stages of children.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.
• A nurturing attitude and a commitment to fostering a safe and supportive atmosphere for all students.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
