Daycare Teacher

Sproutlings Educational Childcare Center is looking for a caring, energetic, and dependable Assistant Teacher to join our team! We are a warm, welcoming early childhood center dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. Our ideal candidate is passionate about working with little ones and eager to be part of a supportive, team-oriented workplace.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Lead Teacher in the daily care, supervision, and education of infants and toddlers
• Support the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive needs of each child
• Help plan and implement age-appropriate activities and learning experiences
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members
• Follow all state childcare regulations and Sproutlings policies
• Assist with feeding, diapering, naptime, and other caregiving routines
• Participate in staff meetings and required trainings

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with infants and toddlers preferred, including babysitting/nanny
• Must meet state licensing requirements for childcare assistants (we will assist with training if needed)
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to lift 30 lbs and actively engage with young children
• Friendly, dependable, and team-focused

Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 – 40.0 per week
