Duties

• Develop and implement dynamic, age-appropriate lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development principles, including literacy education, math, physical education, and social skills.
• Provide attentive toddler care and classroom management to ensure a safe, nurturing environment conducive to learning and exploration.
• Engage children in activities that promote child development instruction, including early intervention strategies and behavior management techniques.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress updates, address concerns, and foster strong partnerships supporting each child's welfare.
• Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws by accurately documenting incidents or concerns related to child welfare.
• Conduct classroom activities that support childhood development milestones and prepare children for future educational settings.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed by maintaining current first aid and CPR certifications and adhering to health standards.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with young children and fostering their growth through nurturing guidance and structured activities.
• Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar early childhood settings.
• Excellent communication skills for effective parent interaction and team collaboration.
• Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical activities, and social-emotional learning.
• Valid certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in childhood development or preschool teaching are a plus.
• A strong work ethic and lots of love to give the children.
• Strong relationship building with the children thru strong interactions with the children.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 38.0 per week
