Daycare Teacher

We are looking for people available Monday-Friday. We are closed on the weekend but we need consistancy of the same teacher each or sub available every day of the week.

Overview

We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Daycare Teacher to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will create a positive learning environment that promotes child development, supports early childhood education standards, and encourages curiosity and social-emotional growth. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help shape young minds while ensuring every child feels safe, loved, and inspired to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and lead age-appropriate learning activities for toddlers and preschoolers.
• Provide attentive care and support children’s development.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and organized classroom.
• Communicate with parents about children’s progress and needs.
• Document incidents and report concerns as required by law.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and maintain current First Aid and CPR certifications.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings; classroom experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and early childhood education best practices.
• Familiarity with special education needs and early intervention techniques is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration.
• Ability to manage classroom dynamics with patience, creativity, and professionalism.
• Certification in first aid and CPR required or willing to obtain upon hire.
• Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare is essential.
• Experience teaching physical education or tutoring young children is advantageous.

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
