Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment where young children can explore, learn, and grow. You will be responsible for implementing engaging lesson plans, managing classroom activities, and maintaining open communication with parents to support each child's unique journey.

Responsibilities

• Implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes early literacy, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional development.
• Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning through play.
• Manage daily classroom routines, including meal times, nap schedules, and activity transitions with patience and consistency.
• Use effective behavior management strategies to promote positive social interactions and resolve conflicts constructively.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones through meetings and written updates.
• Ensure compliance with all mandated reporting laws and health & safety regulations, including first aid and CPR certifications.

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is essential.
• Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques.
• Experience working with children requiring special education or early intervention services is highly valued.
• Familiarity with standardized testing methods used in early childhood education to assess developmental progress.
• Strong communication skills for engaging effectively with children, parents, and team members.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is required

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
