Daycare Director

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Daycare professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing a safe, nurturing environment for children. This role involves caring for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, fostering their development through engaging activities and structured routines.

Duties

• Supervise and ensure the safety of children in the daycare setting.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote childhood development.
• Provide individualized care for children, including infant care and toddler care.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Implement behavior management strategies to support positive interactions among children.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and daily activities.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a supportive team atmosphere.
• Assist with special education needs as required, ensuring all children receive appropriate support.
• Document children's progress and any significant developments in their behavior or learning.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting is essential.
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development is required.
• First aid certification is highly desirable.
• Experience with special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
• Strong classroom management skills to maintain an engaging and orderly environment.
• Ability to develop meaningful relationships with children and their families.
• Previous experience in roles such as nannying, babysitting, or caregiving will be considered beneficial.

Pay: $20.50 - $23.75 per hour
