Childcare Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Schoolers teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality early childhood education and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.

Duties

• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
• Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages children to express themselves.
• Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians regarding their development.
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive community.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively using appropriate classroom management techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible.
• Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience for children.
• Stay informed about current trends in early childhood education and participate in professional development opportunities.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Required to transport children in 14-passenger bus to and from school.
• Ability and willingness to work the following split schedule:

7:10 AM - 8:10 AM

12:45 PM - 6:30 PM

*Number of hours and times subject to change based on business needs

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a preschool or similar setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles, including toddler care, infant care, special education, and caregiving practices.
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to create a positive learning environment.
• First aid certification is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
• A nurturing attitude with a passion for teaching young children.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
