CHILDCARE TEACHER

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Childcare Teacher to create a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment for young children. Duties

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote early childhood development and learning.
• Supervise children during play, meals, naps, and other daily routines to ensure safety and proper behavior management.
• Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and social interaction among children.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children's progress, behaviors, and any concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom that adheres to health and safety standards, including proper sanitation practices.
• Implement classroom management strategies to support positive behavior and address challenges effectively.
• Follow mandated reporting laws by documenting incidents or concerns related to child welfare promptly and accurately.

Requirements

• Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, or similar settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices.
• Certification in first aid, pediatric first aid, CPR, and child safety procedures is highly desirable.
• Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
• Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration.
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with patience, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
• Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
