Responsibilities

• Design and implement dynamic lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
• Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes social skills, behavior management, and emotional well-being.
• Support children’s developmental milestones through tailored activities focused on childhood development and early intervention strategies.
• Manage classroom routines efficiently while ensuring safety and adherence to childcare regulations.
• Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and specialists to support children with special education needs or those requiring additional support.
• Incorporate curriculum development techniques to enhance learning experiences across subjects such as literacy education and math.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, standardized testing results, and lesson planning documentation.

Experience

• Prior classroom experience working with children in early childhood or preschool settings is required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies.
• Experience working with students with special education needs or in early intervention programs is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Montessori methods or other child-centered educational philosophies is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
• Previous daycare or private school experience will be considered an asset.
• Proven ability to develop age-appropriate curricula that incorporate literacy education, physical activities, and tutoring strategies for young learners.
