Childcare Preschool Teacher / Assistant Teacher Pre-K Counts

Diamond Street Early childhood Center seeks to hire individuals excited to work with young children who have a proven record of quality care and bring positivity to the classroom. We are currently seeking an assistant teacher for a Pre-K Counts qualified preschool classroom.

The right candidates will be high energy, able to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment. They must clear a full background check, pass health screening, be able to lift 30 lbs. and have the ability to move freely around a typical classroom in order to safely supervise the children at all times. This position is full-time (32-40 hours) M-F.

Qualifications

• Child Development Associate Certificate or Associate Degree in Education is required
• A minimum of a high school diploma and two years of professional experience working with children required
