Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising daily activities to ensure children’s safety, engagement, and well-being.
• Support classroom management by helping implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities aligned with early childhood education standards.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and daily updates to foster strong relationships.
• Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that complies with health and safety regulations, including first aid and pediatric CPR procedures.
• Support staff in implementing behavior management strategies and individualized care plans for children with special needs or disabilities.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as attendance tracking, updating child records, and preparing materials for activities.
• Ensure adherence to mandated reporting laws and childcare licensing requirements to promote compliance and safety.

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of childhood development instruction, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies.
• Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs enhances your ability to support diverse learners.
• Certification in first aid, CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), pediatric first aid, and Mandated Reporting Laws is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with parents, children, and team members in a professional manner.
• Experience caring for infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children through nannying or babysitting roles is valuable.
• Familiarity with early childhood education principles and classroom experience in daycare or preschool environments will help you succeed.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
