Child Care Teacher

Requirement: 12 ECE college units or 6 ECE units and currently enrolled in additional ECE classes. Or a bachelors degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a childcare.

(ECE: early childhood development)

Overview:

Training begins October 21-23,

Full-time starting October 26th- job position schedules available.

Set work schedule:

Job position schedule: Monday-Friday 7:45-4:45/5:15 pm, lunch break 1:00-2:45 pm

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate childcare teacher to join our amazing team. As a childcare teacher you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of children in our care. As well as performing cleaning and cooking duties. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children.

Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Assist with diaper changes and potty training
- Monitor children's behavior and address any disciplinary issues
- Collaborate with parents to ensure open communication and meet the children's needs
- Maintain a clean and organized environment
- Administer basic first aid when necessary

Skills:
- Experience working with children of various ages, including infants and preschoolers
- Knowledge of child development principles and practices
- Ability to create engaging and educational activities for children
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to handle challenging behaviors
- Understanding of behavior management techniques
- Familiarity with special education needs is a plus

Requirements:
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- preferred but not required previous experience in childcare or a child-related field is preferred
