Child Care Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a strong commitment to the well-being of each child, as well as the ability to engage effectively with both students and their families.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all children.
• Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
• Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social skills and emotional growth.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively through established guidelines and positive reinforcement techniques.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive educational experience for all students.
• Maintain accurate records of children's activities, progress, and any incidents that may occur.
• Stay informed about current best practices in early childhood education and participate in professional development opportunities.

Skills

• Experience working with students in an educational setting.
• Strong background in childcare, including infant care and toddler care.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and special education practices.
• Ability to manage a classroom effectively while promoting a positive learning environment.
• First aid certification is preferred; willingness to obtain if not currently certified.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and staff effectively.
• A nurturing attitude combined with patience and understanding towards children’s needs.
