Child Care Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and develop essential life skills. The Child Care Teacher will be responsible for implementing educational programs that promote childhood development and support the individual needs of each child.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Provide care for infants and young children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Engage children in various activities, including arts and crafts, music, storytelling, and outdoor play.
• Monitor children's progress and behavior, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns that may arise.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom space conducive to learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive teaching approach and share best practices.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
• Experience working with children, including those with disabilities.
• Proficiency in first aid and CPR techniques to ensure child safety.
• Excellent classroom management skills to maintain a structured learning environment.
• Understanding of childhood development stages to tailor educational approaches accordingly.
• Ability to educate children effectively while fostering a love for learning.
• Experience in infant care and daycare settings is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
