Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional development.
• Provide attentive toddler care and preschool instruction, ensuring each child’s safety and well-being.
• Manage classroom environments effectively through positive behavior management strategies and classroom management techniques.
• Communicate regularly with parents to share progress updates, address concerns, and foster strong partnerships in child welfare.
• Conduct child development assessments to tailor instruction and support early intervention when needed.
• Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws and ensure all safety protocols are followed, including first aid and CPR certification.
• Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, standardized testing preparation, and integrating special education or early intervention strategies into daily activities.

Experience

• Proven teaching experience working with young children in preschool or childcare settings.
• Strong background in childhood development instruction, curriculum development, and classroom management.
• Experience with special education needs, early intervention programs, and literacy education initiatives.
• Familiarity with preschool teaching standards, physical education activities for children, and child welfare practices.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members effectively.
• Prior experience in private school environments or similar educational institutions is a plus.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional credentials in childhood development or early childhood education are highly valued.
