Child Care Teacher (CDA or TCC preferred) or Child Care Assistant

• The proposed work schedule will be determined by the Director and the needs of the center. The work week is Monday-Friday. All staff are subject to being pulled and scheduled in order to staff the needs of the center.
• Establish a professional level of rapport with staff and each family in order to provide quality care and friendly service.
• Organize lesson plans, activities and implement approved curriculum
• Engage children in group activities and play that stimulate their development
• Implement classroom schedules and routines to ensure physical activity, rest, and playtime
• Maintain awareness of signs of emotional or developmental problems in children and bring potential areas of improvement to the attention of the center Director, parents and/or guardians
• Create and maintain an environment that is clean, organized, and safe for all children
• Supervise and monitor the safety of children at all times
• Report to duty timely and maintain time and attendance
• Maintain a nurturing rapport with children
• Be the primary caregiver for children in the classroom per approved ratio
• Prepare and organize mealtimes and snacks for children
• Assist children with maintaining good hygiene, handwashing, toileting, changing of diapers of infants and toddlers in a sanitary manner
• Be able to kneel, bend, squat, lift, push, pull, and carry children up to 50lbs.
• Complete required cleaning/sanitization of assigned classroom and support overall cleanliness of the center
• Complete all required classroom documentation requirements within designated timeframe
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to established dress code
• Complete all required trainings in designated time frame, including CPR/First Aid
• Complete all additional duties as assigned by management

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
