Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Care Provider to support the developmental and emotional needs of children in our care. Duties

• Supervise and ensure the safety of children during daily activities, playtime, and transitions.
• Implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote childhood development and learning.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and needs.
• Apply child development instruction techniques to foster social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
• Follow mandated reporting laws to report any concerns related to child safety or well-being.
• Provide first aid and pediatric first aid when necessary to address minor injuries or health issues promptly.
• Manage behavior effectively through positive reinforcement strategies and classroom management techniques.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, or similar settings is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.
• Certification in first aid and CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), including pediatric first aid training.
• Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
• Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and team collaboration.
• Classroom experience with toddlers, infants, or preschool-aged children is preferred.
• Familiarity with daycare regulations, mandated reporting laws, and behavior management strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise children safely while fostering an engaging learning environment.

Positions available: Infant room care provider, GSRP substitute/relief teacher, part time school age care provider 6am-9am and/or 3:45-6pm.
