Daycare Assistant

Duties:
- Assist in implementing educational activities and lesson plans for children
- Provide support and supervision to children during classroom activities, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Assist with behavior management strategies and techniques to promote positive behavior and social skills development
- Manage day-to-day classroom activities, including structured lessons, free play, bathroom breaks, lunchtime, and nap time for students.
- Support students in daily routines, including toileting, feeding, and personal care tasks
- Help maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Assist with the preparation of materials and resources for classroom activities
- Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance if necessary

Skills:
- Experience working with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers is preferred
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff members
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices is a plus
