Hourly Pay: $28–$33

Job Responsibilities

1. School Management and Leadership

• Manage the daily operations of the preschool and ensure the school runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Lead the school’s development and maintain a safe, organized, and positive learning environment.

2. Teacher Training and Team Development

• Train, guide, and support teachers to improve their teaching skills and classroom management.
• Build a strong, professional, and collaborative teaching team.

3. Parent Communication and Relationships

• Communicate effectively and professionally with parents.
• Build trust and positive relationships with families.
• Respond to parents’ questions and concerns in a timely and appropriate manner.

4. School-Wide Planning and Activities

• Coordinate the overall operation of the school.
• Plan, organize, and oversee school activities, celebrations, and special events.
• Ensure activities and daily operations are well organized.

5. Licensing and Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure the school follows applicable childcare licensing regulations and requirements.
• Keep school records and documentation organized and up to date.
• Prepare the school for licensing inspections and help ensure the school meets all applicable requirements.

6. Positive Relationships with Children

• Build warm, caring, and respectful relationships with children.
• Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental needs.

7. Problem-Solving and Incident Management

• Handle problems involving children, staff, parents, and school operations professionally.
• Respond appropriately to incidents and unexpected situations.
• Make responsible decisions to maintain a safe and positive school environment.

8. Administrative Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue monthly tuition receipts to parents.
• Maintain accurate tuition payment and administrative records.
• Write and distribute a weekly newsletter to keep parents informed about school news, upcoming activities, and important announcements.

Qualifications and Requirements

• An Associate Degree (AA) or higher in child development is required.
• At least one year of management experience is required.
• Strong English communication and writing skills.
• Excellent leadership, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with parents and lead a team of teachers.
• Previous preschool or childcare experience is preferred.
• Additional management experience and strong English skills are a plus.
• speak Chinese is a plus.

We are looking for a responsible, caring, and well-organized preschool director who can lead the school effectively, develop and support our teaching team, communicate professionally with parents, coordinate school activities, maintain licensing compliance, and provide a safe and nurturing environment for all children.

The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, good judgment, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine passion for early childhood education.

Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
