Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Child Care Director to oversee the daily operations of our early childhood education center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children while maintaining effective communication with parents. This leadership role requires a strong understanding of early childhood education principles and the ability to manage staff, curriculum, and administrative tasks efficiently.

Duties

• Lead and supervise staff to ensure high-quality care and educational programs are delivered consistently.
• Oversee the development and implementation of age-appropriate curricula that promote early childhood development.
• Maintain compliance with licensing regulations and safety standards to ensure a secure environment for children and staff.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, daily activities, and any concerns, fostering positive relationships and trust.
• Manage administrative responsibilities including enrollment, record keeping, budgeting, and staff scheduling.
• Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages professional growth and continuous improvement.
• Monitor classroom environments to ensure they are engaging, safe, and conducive to learning.
• Address parent inquiries or issues promptly, providing support and guidance as needed.

Experience

• Proven experience in early childhood education or childcare management is required.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with parents, staff, and children.
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles and educational best practices.
• Leadership experience in managing teams within an educational or childcare setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with licensing requirements and safety regulations related to childcare centers.
