Duties

• Manage daily center operations, ensuring a smooth and organized environment for children, staff, and families
• Lead curriculum planning and implementation focused on childhood development instruction, preschool activities, and toddler care
• Supervise classroom activities to promote child supervision, behavior management, and age-appropriate learning experiences
• Recruit, train, and support staff in classroom management techniques, caregiving best practices, and mandated reporting laws
• Maintain compliance with licensing regulations related to daycare center experience, pediatric first aid, and early childhood education standards
• Communicate regularly with parents about their children’s progress, developmental milestones, and any special needs or accommodations
• Oversee health and safety protocols including first aid and CPR certification requirements, sanitation procedures, and emergency response plans

Requirements

• Proven experience working with children in daycare centers or early childhood education settings
• Strong background in classroom experience with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with disabilities
• Certification in first aid and CPR (pediatric first aid preferred), along with knowledge of mandated reporting laws
• Demonstrated skills in classroom management, behavior management, and childhood development instruction
• Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and team leadership
• Ability to supervise staff effectively while fostering a positive team environment
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and caregiving best practices

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
