Kiddie Academy of Cumming North is a brand-new educational child care academy opening in [month 2026]. We are hiring our founding team of leaders, teachers and support staff to build a warm, safe and joyful place for children from 6 weeks to Pre-K. Join us from day one, help set up your classroom, and grow with a nationally recognized brand backed by our Life Essentials® curriculum.

All positions are full-time, Monday–Friday. No nights or weekends.

Open positions

Director (1 opening) — Full-time, Monday–Friday

• Lead the academy: licensing and DECAL compliance, budgets, and day-to-day operations
• Own enrollment: tours, family relationships, marketing and community outreach
• Hire, train, schedule, coach and evaluate the staff team

Assistant Director (1 opening) — Full-time, Monday–Friday

• Run daily operations: ratios, break schedules and classroom coverage
• Conduct tours and handle routine family communication and enrollment paperwork
• Maintain children's and employee files, safety checks and drill records

Infant Teacher (2 openings) — 6:30am–3:30pm or 8:30am–5:30pm

• Provide nurturing, responsive care for infants 6 weeks to 12 months: feeding, diapering, safe sleep and tummy time
• Keep consistent routines and maintain state ratios at all times
• Record daily notes, meals, naps and diapers in the Tadpoles parent app

Toddler Teacher (2 openings) — 7:00am–4:00pm or 9:30am–6:30pm

• Lead active, hands-on learning for toddlers through play, music, movement and language
• Support early self-help skills, potty readiness and positive guidance
• Maintain ratios and share daily updates with families

Two-Year-Old Teacher (2 openings) — 7:30am–4:30pm or 8:30am–5:30pm

• Deliver the Life Essentials® curriculum through daily lesson plans
• Build language, social and independence skills, including potty training
• Keep a safe, organized classroom and consistent supervision

Three/Pre-K Combo Teacher (2 openings) — 8:00am–5:00pm or 9:00am–6:00pm

• Plan and teach curriculum that prepares 3- and 4-year-olds for kindergarten
• Assess and document each child's progress and share it with families
• Maintain high classroom quality in a mixed-age room

Floater (1 opening) — 8:00am–5:00pm

• Cover teacher breaks, lunches and absences across all age groups
• Support ratios, arrival and dismissal, and classroom transitions
• Follow each classroom's routines and lesson plans seamlessly

Cook (1 opening) — 7:00am–3:30pm

• Prepare and serve nutritious breakfast, lunch and snacks from the academy menu
• Follow CACFP meal patterns, portion guidelines and allergy plans
• Keep the kitchen clean and sanitized and maintain health department and temperature logs

What you need

• 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED
• Able to pass a Georgia comprehensive fingerprint background check
• Director and Assistant Director: meet Georgia DECAL director qualifications; degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred; child care leadership experience required (3+ years for Director)
• Teachers: CDA, TCC or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred; experience with the age group preferred
• Cook: food handler or ServSafe certification preferred; commercial or school kitchen experience a plus
• CPR/First Aid certified, or willing to certify
• Warm, reliable, team-first, and able to lift up to 40 lbs and get down to children's level
