Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the center’s operations, including curriculum development, staff supervision, and community engagement.
• Oversee daily classroom activities to ensure they align with educational standards and promote optimal childhood development.
• Manage budgets effectively, including financial planning, resource allocation, and fundraising initiatives to support program growth.
• Facilitate professional development opportunities for staff to enhance instructional quality and maintain high standards of care.
• Ensure compliance with all state and local licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and legal requirements related to early childhood education.
• Lead personnel management efforts by recruiting, hiring, supervising, evaluating faculty and staff, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Develop and implement policies that support inclusive education practices, special education law adherence, and overall program excellence.
• Represent the center at community events, public speaking engagements, and stakeholder meetings to promote our mission and build strong partnerships.

Requirements

• Proven experience in early childhood education administration or as a school administrative director within a licensed childcare or preschool setting.
• Extensive knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood curriculum design, and educational compliance regulations.
• Strong leadership skills with demonstrated success in managing teams, supervising staff, and facilitating professional growth.
• Expertise in managing budgets as an executive education administrator along with experience in fundraising activities.
• Familiarity with legal aspects of school operation including special education law and school legal requirements.
• Excellent communication skills suitable for public speaking, staff training sessions, and parent engagement.
• Classroom experience working directly with children across various age groups within K–12 or early childhood settings is highly desirable.
• Ability to develop strategic plans that align with organizational goals while fostering an inclusive learning environment.
