About the Position

Semillitas de Amor Child Care Center SF is seeking an experienced, responsible, caring, and highly dependable Bilingual Child Care Center Director (English/Spanish) to join our team.

We are looking for someone who wants more than simply a job. We hope to find a Director who values stability, teamwork, kindness, professionalism, and who is interested in becoming a long-term member of our center.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must:

• Be fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Have a minimum of two years of experience in Early Childhood Education/Child Development in a licensed child care setting.
• Meet all applicable California Department of Social Services (CDSS), Community Care Licensing, Title 22 requirements for a Child Care Center Director.
• Be able to provide documentation verifying Director qualifications, including applicable transcripts, degrees, permits, coursework, and experience.
• Be qualified and able to support the center’s participation in San Francisco’s Early Learning For All (ELFA) program, including applicable California ECE Workforce Registry and program requirements.
• Have experience with licensing compliance, staff supervision, documentation, health and safety procedures, and early childhood education.
• Be dependable and punctual and have a strong sense of responsibility.
• Be available to work the established schedule of 7:30 AM–3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
