Child Care Assistant Teacher

We have an opening for an assistant staff member in our infant and toddler classrooms at Cooks Hill Childcare Center. Cooks Hill Childcare Center is an ECEAP, Dual Language Certified, full curriculum center providing care and education for 133 children daily.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for children's education, social and emotional development, and desire to work in a childcare environment.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: supporting lead classroom teachers in the care and teaching of children, cleaning, sanitizing, and helping to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our children, helping to serve meals and snacks, ability to communicate clearly with families, actively engaging with children in play and learning, and the ability to meet trainings and background clearances as required by state licensing.

Staff at Cooks Hill Childcare are eligible to enroll in a fully funded ECE Degree program through Centralia College and join a team of individuals pursuing childcare careers together.

Hours are Monday - Friday.
