Job Summary

Duties

• Develop and execute dynamic lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning.
• Implement curriculum development strategies tailored to diverse learning needs, including special education and early intervention programs.
• Manage classroom activities effectively using strong classroom management techniques to foster a positive learning environment.
• Engage in child development instruction by monitoring progress through assessments and standardized testing to inform instruction.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones to build strong partnerships.
• Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety protocols, including first aid and CPR certification.
• Incorporate Montessori methods or other educational philosophies as appropriate to enhance learning experiences for preschool-aged children.

Qualifications

• Valid certification as an Early Childhood Teacher with relevant credentials recognized by state or national authorities.
• Proven experience working with children in classroom settings, including daycare, preschool, or private school environments.
• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies.
• Experience with curriculum development across multiple domains such as literacy education, math, physical education, and social-emotional skills.
• Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention strategies, and childhood welfare practices.
• Excellent communication skills for effective parent communication and teamwork within educational settings.
• Ability to adhere to health and safety standards including first aid and CPR certification; knowledge of mandated reporting laws is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate standardized testing results and assessments for continuous improvement.
