Assistant Toddler Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role requires creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where toddlers can thrive, learn, and develop essential skills. The Assistant Toddler Teacher will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate curricula and fostering a positive learning atmosphere.

Duties

• Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
• Monitor and assess each child's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as necessary.
• Facilitate daily activities such as storytelling, arts and crafts, music, and outdoor play.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques.
• Collaborate with other educators and staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience.
• Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns that may arise.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and educational regulations.

Skills

• Experience working with children in various settings such as daycare or toddler environments.
• Strong understanding of early childhood education principles.
• Ability to manage a classroom effectively while maintaining a positive atmosphere.
• Experience in toddler care is preferred.
• Knowledge of special education practices is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young children.
• Ability to adapt lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of students.

Pay: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour
