Aftercare Assistant

Duties
- Provide care and support to school-aged children in a compassionate and nurturing manner.

- Supervising a group of 12-20 children before and after school.

-Supervising a group of school - aged children.

- Having knowledge of the Program curriculum.

- Covering front desk (make sure we have parent-sign out, re-stock flyers, volunteer forms, parent registrations, pricing sheets. Make sure we have emergency contact binder and no pick-up list.)

- Monitoring hallways (making sure students are walking to the front office)

- Monitoring office supplies, snacks, juices, water, and walkies.

- Notify Site Director when low on snacks, juices, and office supplies.

- Ensuring that student attendance is collected from staff daily.

- Assisting Director with student behavior concerns.

- Monitoring books, games, and activities.

- Assisting classroom and hallway coverage dialy.

- Maintain a positive and respectful attitude towards staff, parents, and students.

```Qualifications```
- Experience working with children, such as classroom management, or early childhood education.
- Knowledge of childhood development and educational principles.
- Ability to effectively communicate and engage with children of different ages and backgrounds.
- Understanding of special education needs and strategies for supporting children with diverse abilities.
- Supervising a group of school - aged children.
