RGEC After School Program Site Supervisor

Location: Santa Rosa, New Mexico (Santa Rosa Elementary School & Anton Chico Elementary School)

Position Type: Part-Time
Pay Range: $22.00–$28.00 per hour

Position Summary

The OST Site Supervisor provides on-site leadership for RGEC’s school-based After School program. In addition to supporting students through academic and enrichment activities, the Site Supervisor helps ensure the program operates safely, consistently, and effectively each day.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership and oversight of the program site.
• Supervise and support instructors and other assigned staff.
• Maintain a safe, positive, organized, and welcoming environment for students.
• Coordinate daily academic, enrichment, recreational, and social-development activities.
• Support students with homework, academic skill-building, creativity, teamwork, and positive social skills, consistent with the program activities
• Ensure students are appropriately supervised throughout program hours.
• Support communication with families, school personnel, and RGEC leadership.
• Help maintain program materials, student information, attendance, and required site documentation.
• Model professionalism, dependability, teamwork, and positive interactions with students and staff.
• Ensure RGEC procedures and expectations are followed consistently.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
• Previous experience working with children or youth required; leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lead staff while creating a supportive environment for students and families.

Pay Range: $17.00–$22.00 per hour

Position Summary

RGEC is seeking energetic, caring, dependable, and creative individuals to join our After School Program team in Santa Rosa. The Instructor works directly with students in a school-based environment, providing a safe, positive, and engaging experience before and/or after the regular school day.

Instructors help students’ complete homework, build confidence, strengthen academic skills, explore enrichment activities, and develop teamwork and positive social skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for students.
• Assist students with homework and academic activities.
• Lead engaging enrichment activities in areas such as STEM, math, science, literacy, geography, art, music, performing arts, and sports.
• Incorporate personal talents, interests, and creativity into activities that encourage students to learn and explore.
• Encourage positive behavior, teamwork, confidence, and social-emotional development.
• Supervise students and maintain appropriate program expectations.
• Work collaboratively with the Site Supervisor, RGEC team members, and school community.
• Assist with preparing program spaces, activities, and materials.
• Follow RGEC safety, program, and student supervision procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
• Experience working with children or youth preferred.
• Dependable, positive, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Interest or experience in STEM, art, music, sports, reading, academics, or other youth enrichment activities is encouraged.
