Kiddie Academy of St. Peters is seeking a passionate, energetic, nurturing, and dependable 2-Year-Old Classroom Teacher to join our growing team!

Through our nationally recognized Life Essentials® curriculum, we focus on developing the whole child through hands-on learning, meaningful interactions, and age-appropriate educational experiences.

As a 2-Year-Old Classroom Teacher, you will play an important role in supporting children during a critical stage of development, when they are building independence, expanding their language skills, learning to manage emotions, and developing social relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create a warm, safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment for children ages 2–3.
• Implement the Kiddie Academy Life Essentials® curriculum through creative, hands-on, and developmentally appropriate activities.
• Plan and lead daily activities that support early literacy, language development, math concepts, sensory exploration, art, music, and movement.
• Support potty training and encourage independence in daily routines, including handwashing, dressing, and self-help skills.
• Guide children in developing social-emotional skills, sharing, communication, and positive behaviors.
• Maintain consistent classroom routines and smooth transitions throughout the day.
• Observe and document children's developmental progress and communicate regularly with families through our childcare communication platform.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe classroom while following Missouri childcare licensing regulations and Kiddie Academy health and safety standards.
• Provide active supervision and maintain required staff-to-child ratios at all times.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and academy leadership to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
